Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell
You read so many books I am sure you have read this before but I have really enjoyed it. Rob Bell tells his story and life leasons about following Christ. He writes kind of the way Donald Miller does but with his own voice. LOL, I am not very good at this. If you like any of Donald Millers books you will like this one.
Hi James. You were correct! I have read Velvet Elvis. I really enjoyed it, too. I like his writing style. He has a new book out that I just got called Sex God. I’ve not started it yet but understand that it is about the correlation between sexuality and spirituality. Should be interesting!

“When We Get There” by Shauna Seliy. It’s new, just came out last month, I think. I totally loved it. About a boy’s search for his mother, and along the way he finds his community, his heritage, his place in the world. It’s full of Eastern European immigrants. Set in a Pennsylvania coal mining town. I found it very tender, and dear, it made me cry at times, but it is NOT sappy or sweet. Edgy and real. GREAT read. Love your site. THANKS. Jen
